SWIMMING:
Mikko’s sporty hobbies mean almost daily activity at winter season. Mikko belongs to Seinäjoki’s Swimming Association competition training group; they have 4 exercise / week. Mikko started he’s swimming career when he was 7 years old and so far he has been swimming well over 1000 km at swimming pool. Mikko’s favorite is 400 meters freestyle, where he has also reached he’s best results (3rd at Western Finland competition).
Mikko has not set goal in he’s swimming career, but you may easily see he’s rivalry at training and also in results. Swimming was an excellent choice as it develops all muscles in body and builds good strength, which is very much needed also at Karting.
GIANT SLALOM & SLALOM: Mikko started at 2007 also Slalom & Giant Slalom. There were no space for basket ball any more, when Mikko’s school mate got he’s interest to this new hobby. Mikko had only experience from snowboarding until this, so he’s ability to learn quickly was very important. Mikko has always had very good body coordination; he learned to drive single wheel bike in one evening, which after he have accumulated a quite a number of kilometers with it, mostly at Karting race events. Despite Mikko classifies Slalom as pure hobby, there have been few nice results at competitions. There is neither goal in Slalom, but after the first season, it is very interesting to see the next season development.
